Fend encrypts your Android device's DNS queries and answers ad and tracker domains on the device itself. No accounts, no servers, no data collection.

Encrypted DNS

Your queries are encrypted with DNS over HTTPS. You pick the provider: Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, AdGuard, Yandex, or your own address.

Blocking on device

Ad and tracker domains are answered on your device and never reach the network. The list ships inside the app.

Less data used

An ad that never loads is data you never spend. The statistics screen shows your daily and monthly usage.

No servers

Your traffic is not relayed through a remote server. Only DNS is encrypted; everything else flows as usual.

Privacy is the default, not a feature

Fend has no server, so there is nowhere for your data to be collected. Your settings and counters stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Built on open source

Fend is based on Jigsaw-Code/Intra, an open-source project by Jigsaw, used under the Apache License 2.0. The blocklist is compiled from StevenBlack/hosts, used under the MIT License.
